Ministry of Environment and Water (KASA) launched the Pilot Project of Authorised Automotive Treatment Facility (AATF) in March 2021.

The AATF is a facility that dismantles parts, especially those containing scheduled waste from deregistered vehicles by the Road Transport Department (JPJ).

The parts and component will be segregated for reuse, recycle or recover and final disposal. This facility is licensed by Department of Environment (DOE) under Section 18, Environmental Quality Act 1974.

MARii collaborate with DOE in AATF licensing and has been assigned by DOE to assess the application by the potential AATF by reviewing their Business Proposal and later on to issue recommendation letter (Surat Ulasan) to DOE.

The Energy Efficient Vehicle (EEV) Labelling Scheme by MARii is one of the initiatives to encourage EEV Penetration in Malaysia that aligns with the National Automotive Policy (NAP). This webpage provides online system for the EEV Label application by OEMs to recognise their EEV models.
